Fresh Season. Fresh Victims. Midnight Season 1 Kicks Off.

The wait is over. The queues are open. The gold is on the table. Mythic Mayhem Club is back for Midnight Season 1, and Gizmo Goldscrap is here to make sure every single one of you either earns your title — or gets thoroughly roasted trying. Either way, Gizmo wins.

Who Is Gizmo Goldscrap?

Glad you asked. I'm Gizmo Goldscrap — entrepreneur, e-sports visionary, and the only goblin in Azeroth running a legitimate competitive challenge platform. You think this website runs on friendship and good vibes? Wrong. It runs on your suffering and your weekly progress reports. Welcome to Mythic Mayhem Club. Try not to embarrass yourself.

The Rules (Read Them. Twice.)

This season, Gizmo is running a focused operation. No fluff. No Free-For-All coverage. If you're in Free-For-All, enjoy your little sandbox — Gizmo won't be watching. The real action is in Supreme and Supreme+, and here's what it takes to matter:

  • Pick Supreme or Supreme+. Commit to it.
  • Hit 2000 rating in all three roles — Healer, Tank, DPS — and you've earned Keystone Master Supreme. That's the floor. The minimum. The "at least you showed up" tier.
  • Hit 2500 in all three roles and you're a Keystone Hero Supreme. Now we're talking.
  • Hit 3000 in all three roles and you're a Keystone Legend Supreme. Gizmo will personally acknowledge your existence.

One more thing: once mandatory raiding wraps up, Gizmo will write weekly articles for six more weeks. After that, Gizmo goes on hiatus. The season doesn't end — Gizmo's patience does. Plan accordingly.

The Competitors

Let's meet the roster. Try to look surprised.

Damson

Brand new to the challenge, but not new to the guild — which means Gizmo already knows things. Damson brings a Warlock for DPS, a Death Knight for tanking, and a Monk for healing. An interesting lineup. But what Gizmo is really interested in is whether those characters perform better than Damson's legendary in-game communication style. According to guild sources, asking Damson when to use Heroism results in — and this is a direct quote — "garbled static noise." Inspiring stuff. Let's see if the rating climbs as fast as the static.

Edvin

A returning champion, and Gizmo uses that term loosely. Last season: 2678 on the Demon Hunter, 3435 on the Shaman. Incredible numbers — almost enough to make Gizmo forget that the Monk sat at a comfortable zero. The Monk's name? imnewbenice. Turns out being new and being nice didn't translate into being ranked. Edvin is back with a Shaman for both DPS and Healer, plus a Warrior tank. The question isn't whether Edvin can hit big numbers. The question is whether all three characters will be invited to the finish line — or if one of them gets left in the inn again.

Epedemik

Oh, Epedemik. Last season this man hit Keystone Legend on DPS. Keystone Legend on Healer. Absolute elite performance across the board. And then — Tank. Zero. Nothing. A complete and total black hole where the tanking rating should have been. Epedemik is back with a Death Knight pulling double duty on DPS and Tank, and a Shaman healer named Mystale. The talent is not in question. The question is whether the tank spec sees the light of day this season, or whether it spends another season watching from the sidelines.

Faerlina

Full Monk. All three roles, one character, zero excuses. Faerlina is not new to performing — last season the Monk was pushing Legend numbers on DPS and Tank in Supreme. The Healer? That's where the story gets interesting. The healing spec went quiet in Supreme while the Free-For-All bracket told a completely different story: Keystone Legend secured with Monk, Demon Hunter, and Paladin. So the healing chops are clearly in there somewhere. The question is whether Supreme gets to see them this season. Gizmo has eyes on Faerlina. The Monk better have eyes on the rating.

Marty

Yes, Gizmo's own handler is on the roster. And no, that doesn't buy him anything. Marty ran the Healer All-Star challenge last season and came away with Keystone Hero on all seven healing specs. Seven. That's not nothing — that's actually borderline absurd. But it wasn't Keystone Master Supreme, was it? Marty is going full Paladin this season — DPS, Tank, and Healer all on Asibia. One character. Three roles. Gizmo respects the commitment. Let's see if the Paladin respects the timer.

Moocheteclaw

Mooch. The name alone commands attention. Last season was admittedly a bit of an off year, but the man still walked away with Keystone Master Supreme — Druid DPS, Evoker Healer, Death Knight Tank. In an off year. Mooch is back this season with Macheteclaw on DPS, Deathchete on tank, and Shamchete on healer. The naming convention is very on brand. The expectations are high. Gizmo wants the full legendary lineup this season, and Mooch is one of the few players on this roster who might actually deliver it.

Neek

The Guild Master himself graces the challenge once more. Master of Kul Tiran waters, devoted follower of Jaina lore, and — secretly — a man who loves tanking. We know, Neek. The druid tank is the tell. Last season Neek secured Keystone Master Supreme on his Hunter DPS, Evoker Healer, and Druid Tank. This season he's bringing Nevayrah on DPS, Balszac on tank, and Solphina on healer. Gizmo is already looking forward to watching that tanking score hover near zero for the first several weeks while Neek insists he's "getting to it."

North

North is back in Supreme, and Gizmo is happy about it. Last season North was in Free-For-All, and Gizmo did not like it. The roast-free zone is not where North belongs. North belongs here, under the spotlight, being held accountable for every healing number on Crouton. This season: Lucifearo on DPS, Rhyanor on tank, and Crouton the Healer. The DPS and tanking should come along just fine. But those healing numbers — when do they go up, North? Early in the season? Late? Gizmo is watching. Gizmo is always watching.

Xytrixz

Last but absolutely not least. Xy. Last season Xy was everywhere — every challenge, characters rotating in and out faster than Gizmo updates his ledger. Through the chaos, Xy still managed to land Keystone Master Supreme and Keystone Master Free-For-All with three characters. This season Xy is going full Paladin energy: Xytrixz on DPS, Xytrixz on tank, and Xytrixz on healer. One name. Three roles. Maximum commitment. If you can't find Xy in your group finder, he's probably already on his fifth Death Knight of the evening.

Gizmo's Sign-Off

That's your roster. Nine players. Three roles each. One season to prove they belong in the record books — or at least above zero on the tanking leaderboard.

Gizmo is ready. The timer is running. And if you haven't signed up yet — good news, the door is still open. Head to mythicmayhem.club, log in with your Battle.net account, and grab the invite code pinned in the Mythic+ channel on Discord. Everyone is welcome. Even you.

Ready. Set. Go.
